Free
classifieds
sites are mostly used to sell or buy (used) goods
in local
areas
(or to find a service). But they're also used to generate
targeted
traffic for a website. Classified ads are placed
under a
specific
topic so only the people who are interested in that subject will view
your ad. Problem with classified ads is... there are so many.
If you want to place your ad at a high traffic site (and you want to do
that of course) you really need to make your ad stand out. Especially
when you're offering a business opportunity or want to recruit
new
referrals. It's jam packed with ads like that. A catchy title will help
but most readers go through the first few pages so you need
to update your ad frequently.
The easiest way to make your ad stand out is by using a highlighted
title. A lot of people don't want to pay for advertising at
free
sites so they don't use this option. Here's where you can benefit. Most
sites will charge you between $5 and $25 to have your ad highlighted
but the traffic it brings is well worth it. If you play it smart and
place your best product on a landing page or create a juicy opt-in
page, you can make 10 if not 100 times your investment back.
Visitors of
classifieds
sites are not into online business they're just
looking for stuff they need or want. You can offer affiliate products
they have never seen before because most of your competitors will go
with the free option so their ad will not be noticed by those people.
If you want to maximize profits, you should buy a headline ad that's
shown on every page. Depending on which site you use it will cost a
bit, but if you have a catchy ad and the landing page or affiliate page
is well put together you can expect high profits. People are just
curious by nature. They always want to know what's new or what they're
missing out on. Make your offer time sensitive and you're off to the
bank. This technique works very well for affiliate products with
pre-written ads. All you do is change them a little bit (there might be
another affiliate using the same ad) and post a different version like
every week or every month. It sure beats spending all the commissions
you earn on ppc bills.
Ok, enough talk. Here's our
Free
Classifieds Top 10 list. We all know
Craigslist is number 1 of the world so we didn't include them because
it's boring to see the same number 1 over and over again (plus
now
you can't say "yea figures"). We have more free
classifieds at our alphabetical sorted
list
of classifieds sites. Have fun.
